My Global Mentors ("we", "us", "our"), located at Winona, Office No. 203-04, Erandwane, Pune 411004, Maharashtra, India, provides study-abroad counselling, admissions, visa, and related support services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.
Information you give us through the website: name, email address, phone number, preferred study destination, intended course and intake, and anything you write in the enquiry message.
Information you give us during counselling and application processing: academic records and transcripts, passport and identity documents, standardised test scores (IELTS/TOEFL/GRE etc.), work-experience documents, and — where needed for visa or education-loan processing — financial documents such as bank statements and income proofs.
Communications: records of your calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages with our mentors.
Automatically collected: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) through the third-party tools described in Section 7.
We use your information to: (a) provide counselling and profile evaluation; (b) shortlist universities and prepare and submit applications on your behalf; (c) assist with scholarship, education-loan, visa, accommodation, forex, insurance, and travel arrangements you request; (d) communicate with you about your case and respond to enquiries; and (e) send you relevant updates about our services, which you can opt out of at any time.
We share your information only as needed to deliver the services you have asked for, with: universities, colleges, and their authorised representatives; visa authorities, embassies, and consulates; education-loan partners (banks and NBFCs); test-preparation, accommodation, foreign-exchange, insurance, and travel partners; and our affiliated platform BookMyColleges.com. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Because our service is helping you study abroad, your information is necessarily shared with institutions and authorities in the destination countries you choose to apply to. By engaging our services, you consent to this transfer.
If you are under 18, please use our website and services together with a parent or legal guardian. We process the personal information of minors only with verifiable parental or guardian consent, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Our website uses Google Maps (on the contact page), Google Fonts, WhatsApp click-to-chat, and content-delivery networks for fonts, icons, and animations. When you visit, these providers may receive standard technical data such as your IP address. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
We retain student records for up to 3 years after your service is completed or your last interaction with us, after which they are securely deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.
You may at any time: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate information; ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements); and withdraw consent for further processing or marketing communication. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and we share documents with partners only through the channels needed to process your case. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data at every step.
